Job Summary
A nationally recognized manufacturer in the metal building industry is seeking a Drafter to support its drafting operations. This role involves preparing detailed documents and drawings for fabrication and erection, ensuring accuracy and completeness based on project specifications and internal standards. The Drafter will also mentor junior drafters, provide technical guidance, and review documentation for quality and compliance.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and complete fabrication and erection drawings
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams throughout the drafting process
- Provide mentorship and feedback to junior drafting staff
- Ensure all documentation aligns with internal procedures and standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in metal building drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MBS, and related drafting tools
- Strong math skills, including trigonometry
- Demonstrated ability to lead and review drafting processes
