Position Summary

Cidrines is seeking an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Manager with a strong background in bakery or food manufacturing. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all production equipment and facility systems to support manufacturing performance, food safety, product quality, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will lead maintenance operations, develop maintenance personnel, drive equipment reliability, minimize downtime, control maintenance costs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that support the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors.
• Establish and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive equipment reliability and maximize plant uptime.
• Minimize unplanned downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Monitor and improve maintenance KPIs and equipment performance.
• Manage maintenance budgets, labor costs, and overtime utilization.
• Develop and maintain critical spare parts inventory programs.
• Implement and maintain CMMS systems and maintenance documentation.
• Support bakery production operations, including mixers, proofers, ovens, conveyors, freezers, and packaging systems.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with Production, Quality, and Sanitation departments.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA, OSHA, and food safety requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, waste reduction, and cost savings.
• Support capital projects, equipment installations, and facility improvements.
• Develop and train maintenance personnel in safety, food safety, troubleshooting, and technical skills.

• Equipment Reliability
• Maintenance Cost Control
• Spare Parts Inventory Management
• Safety Performance
• OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

Qualifications

• Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years of maintenance leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Bakery manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in a high-volume production environment.
• Strong understanding of bakery equipment including mixers, proofers, ovens, conveyors, freezing systems, and packaging equipment.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting, automation systems, and industrial controls.
• Experience with TPM, Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, and Reliability Programs.
• Strong budgeting, planning, and project management skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
