Job Summary
Growing national food manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Lead/Supervisor to join their team in the Jupiter, FL area.
Summary: Under the direction of the Plant Manager the Maintenance Lead/Supervisorensures all machines/tools are maintained and running smoothly.
Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Repairs machines and equipment for production and facility;
- Ensures that all factory machinery is properly maintained and running at peak efficiency, diminishing downtime;
- Provides training for production staff on all newly installed or modified machines;
- Controls waste management and waste water treatment systems;
- Assists with facilities maintenance, as needed;
- Provides log documentation for all AFI HACCP and food security programs.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems
- Ability to read and use system and hydraulic schematics, logic diagrams, and other related technical documentation to assist in diagnosis and repairs
- Ability to read and understand machine manual and SOPs
- Must be able to push/pull, lift/carry, and/or move up to 40lbs.
- Programmable Logic Controller, AC/DC motors and controls knowledge preferable
- Working knowledge of MS Office software application
Prior maintenance experience in a food manufacturing facility is required.
