Position Summary
Reports To Reports To: Industrial Maintenance Supervisor Position Summary Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency is achieved by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, with safety and quality standards being a top priority. They must possess a technical mindset and demonstrate strong mechanical capabilities, while being flexible and adaptable as they will be required to rotate job assignments throughout various areas of the bakery. Industrial Maintenance Technicians must have the aptitude and drive to seek and acquire on-going training due to ever evolving technological improvements and performance standards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, thorough knowledge of support equipment, critical and non-critical equipment components, and equipment operational sequencing
Demonstrate knowledge of electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication (milling and lathe)
Identify and inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
Rebuild mechanical drive components such as clutches, brakes, etc.
Verify and correct mechanical timing
Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment
Identify mechanical wear and identify, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components
Identify, wire, and troubleshoot electrical components
Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry
Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
Possess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment Essential Job Functions/Requirements
LICENSE
License as required by State, Industry, City, County (boiler, refrigeration, etc.) May be required to possess/maintain a valid license to operate applicable heavy equipment, including forklift. MOBILITY
Ability to move to all production areas of plant.
Physical ability to stand a minimum of eight hours to a maximum of 16 hours on a daily basis.
Ability to climb fixed and portable ladders to a height of twenty (20) feet.
Ability to stop and bend while lifting weights up to fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to climb onto and crawl under machinery, as required. SENSORY
Ability to view products at all workstations and determine adherence to quality control standards (size, shape, color, cut, etc.).
Ability to distinguish color coded equipment, operating controls, labels, alarms, and signs.
Ability to hear and distinguish audible alarms.
Hearing, vision, and smell faculties sufficient to detect malfunctions in applicable equipment. June 30, 2025 Page 3 of 3
COMMUNICATION
Ability to read and understand technical instructions on machine care and maintenance.
ATTENDANCE
Must be able to attend work on a regular and consistent basis, completing assigned shifts and overtime as required.
OTHER
Must meet/maintain CDC food handling requirements and other governmental and/or customer requirements.
Ability to read, comprehend and practice necessary safety procedures, signs, etc.
Ability to wear and use approved, applicable safety equipment, as needed.
Ability to research, ascertain, develop, implement, and monitor required policies and procedures.

2+ years of experience as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field Desired Education Desired Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plus
