Operations Analyst / Trainee
Position Summary :
Drives asset/resource control and operational efficiency through detailed data analysis. This role involves monitoring inventory flow, investigating data and physical discrepancies, and recommending process and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Control: Monitor, maintain, and reconcile accurate asset levels and system records.
- Problem Solving: Analyze reports to find root causes of errors; implement preventative solutions.
- Auditing: Execute scheduled physical audits (counts) and investigate all stock/system discrepancies.
- Reporting: Generate key operational and accuracy reports; develop and track KPIs.
- Process Improvement: Review processes, recommend system modifications for better data capture, and provide cost/benefit analysis for projects.
Prerequisites
- Experience: Bachelor's Degree + 3 years relevant experience (or equivalent).
- Technical: Proficient Excel (Pivot Tables, XLookups) and general software proficiency.
- Core Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; excellent organization.
Workplace
Primarily a seated, computer-based role. Occasional physical activity may be required, including lifting up to 20 lbs.
