Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Windows Systems Administrator to join the Environment Management Group. This role involves supporting, architecting, and engineering solutions across OS, middleware, applications, and databases in pre-production environments. Strong automation and scripting skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy,
smoke test, and validate new code releases; perform backups and rollbacks
as needed
- Maintain
secure access to test environments using least privilege principles
- Provide
weekly status updates on ongoing projects
- Review
and recommend performance improvements for environments
- Manage
support tickets and document solutions and enhancements
- Collaborate
with other Systems Administrators to provide technical assistance
- Document
environment architecture and dependencies
- Build
and configure new environments as required
- Maintain
documentation for policies, procedures, and practices
- Support
QA and Development teams with effective communication and customer service
- Manage
multiple tasks and projects with strong time management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's
degree in IT or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum
5 years of experience in IT and customer service
- Expertise
in Windows Server platforms (2003-2022), SQL Clustering, PowerShell
Automation, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, VLANs, and Netscalers
- Familiarity
with SQL and Oracle connections, basic queries, and VMWare
- Experience
with Bitbucket, Artifactory, GitLab, and ticketing systems
- Strong
communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability
to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- High
attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability
to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines
- Occasional
travel may be required
- Availability
for off-hours work as needed
