Responsibilities
The successful candidate will exercise a wide degree of creativity and influence the near and long-term recruiting vision. Key responsibilities include:
- Perform full life
cycle recruiting by building excellent relationships with hiring
managers, candidates, and the BAE Systems community.
- Conduct intake
meetings with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of job
duties, responsibilities, and required/desired skills.
- Develop timely hiring
and robust sourcing strategies to attract the best talent in our
industry.
- Partner with sourcing
team members to develop new sourcing strategies and generate additional
candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
- Guide hiring managers
and candidates through the BAE Systems selection process.
- Increase business acumen
and influence recruiting strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS)
and 6+ years of experience or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in all
components of full life-cycle recruiting, including sourcing,
qualifying candidates, networking, candidate assessment, legal/compliance,
job analysis, wage and salary trends, and relationship management.
- Ability to recruit for a
broad/deep range of positions on a national, multi-location level.
- Skilled at partnering
with hiring teams to build effective recruiting, sourcing, assessment, and
closing approaches, with an ability to manage customer/partner
expectations.
- Experience handling different types of positions,
including Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, and Supply
Chain, preferably within a DOD environment.
- Experience working in a remote
environment while managing hiring managers in several time zones.
- Ability to maintain accurate
and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring
manager interactions, and other recruiting activities in an Applicant
Tracking System (ATS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Kenexa
Applicant Tracking System.
- Familiarity with Phenom
Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
- Familiarity with Paradox
(Recruitment Chatbot/AI).
