Job Summary
Our client is currently seeking a Safety Manager for a leading beverage company in the Central, Florida Area
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- In charge of the entire safety and compliance programs for 2 manufacturing locations
- Advise the plant safety teams on projects, tasks and operations
- Review and implement new safety standards and operating procedures
- Oversee and manage the facilities safety program to ensure compliance is meet by mandated local, state and federal agencies including OSHA and other agencies.
- Conduct and revise risk assessments to help leadership prioritize strategies, initiatives and plans for identifying and analyzing risk related information.
Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred, but will consider additional experience in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of Safety Management Experience in a manufacturing environment
- OSHA 30 ,501 or 511 required
- Previous Leadership/Management Experience REQUIRED
- Experience with Safety Audits and OSHA is a must
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
