Job Summary
Title: Forklift Operator
Contract: 6+ Months
Location: Orlando FL
B-shift, M-F, 3PM-12AM
C-shift, F-M, 12 HRS 6AM-6:30 PM
D-shift, F-M, 12 HRS 6PM-6:30 AM
A-shift, M-F, 6AM-4:30PM
Pay Range:** $28/hr. on W2
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect shipments
- Perform quality control checks
- Document receipts and complete work orders
- Conduct data entry in inventory management systems
- Package, sort, stage, label, and mark inventory
- Assign and audit storage locations
- Operate heavy equipment and forklifts (if qualified)
- Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis
- Follow safety protocols and use PPE appropriately
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fulfillment center operations (receiving, inventory, packing)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Effective communication in technical environments
- Basic math and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material
- Commitment to safety and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or certifications (APICS, Lean Six Sigma)
- Aerospace industry experience in warehouse/inventory roles
