Job Summary
Purpose of Position:
FP&A responsible for analyzing business data and performance to improve decision-making within an organization. Business analysts use data to drive decision-making. The role of a business analyst is to ensure business efficiency increases through their knowledge of both IT and business function.
Accountabilities:
- Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Planning and monitoring
- Financial and business modelling
- Variance Analysis
- Pricing and mix analysis
- Modeling, reporting, dashboard and KPIs
- Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders
- In addition to performing financial and operational modelling, a Business Analyst is expected to develop new models that underpin sound business decisions
- Provide financial insights that help the decision-making process and align capital and resource allocation within the business budget.
Minimum Skills Required:
- Pursuing a bachelor's in business studies, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering or Information Technology.
- Analytics mindset/Process orientated
- Experience working with senior decision makers
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel & Power BI skills or other analytic tools
